What is the Enlightenment other than a handful of people who have sworn to build their own Elysium out of the stalemate of domination-increasing capital and corrupt religious discourse. The Enlightenment was the cry for help of the thinkers of the age beyond a historical turning point. It wasn't a speech, it was a provocative cry, it was romantic, lush but insufficient. This work takes its name from Kant's most famous article in which he analyzes the question. The painting is dedicated to the German enlighteners and reformists. Their grief is reflected by the Greek mythology characters that I match with their world of thought.

The matching of the Enlightenment spirit with the Greek realm in this context is more than a coincidence, but a necessity, the whole purpose of enlightenment was the motivation to return to the imagined Greek purity. Nietzsche carries the world on his back, he is Atlas. He has passed with the aim of throwing the world he realizes he carries on his whole life and conveying the festivity of the world that is actually under his feet. The one on the left waiting for his liver to be pierced by an eagle is Schopenhauer, he is matches with Prometheus because Schopenhauer describe human as a living is also chained to the power of "Will" and eaten by "World" in an infinite representation cycle.

Right next to him, Leibniz puts Schiller to sleep, just as Apollo put Hermes to sleep with his harp, this is the representation of the analytical defeat of the Romanticism. a daimon whispering to Leibniz he is obviously Martin Luther, he whispers his notes, he has already told how to overcome the old man rule mountains. Schelling is behind them a Satyr with his back to the stone, this man who puts his philosophy of nature in a spiritual context.All of the thinkers present here obviously have a weapon, and most of them have been forged by a single person. This, of course, is Kant, who appears as Hephaestus, forging a gun.

In the far corners of the place, we see a figure representing Wagner, while the painter Caspar takes place with the figure in his famous work.

The serpent below is not the serpent of creation, he will not lie that the fruit of knowing the truth will make Eve like God, its purpose is only to crawl.

Sleeping behind this whole bloody scene are the Schegel brothers, who fell asleep in the show of enlightenment, just like Hypnos and Nyx. On the back plain, there is a completely different tragedy. It is Goethe who raises the young muse Novalis to his feet, Goethe is Dionysos, he is the god of festivity and wine, his power comes from his inspiration. Behind them, it is Hegel as Epimetheus who opens Pandora's box, Pandora is sad, she represent thoughtful women whose names are not mentioned. What comes out of the box affects all humanity. Hegel's influence can not be fit into 10 volumes, but 5 names are given in the picture; Anarchist Stirner, Strauss and Fauerbach are on the right, while Engels and Marx are on the left, their aims will shape the world. So there is a ox behind Hegel, it represent the main theme of all of this chaos; life.  At the ends of the land, there are figures representing the founder Aenisis, who migrated to Rome and build a nation, as well as Herder, which reveals the historical establishment of nations, and Humboldt as his father carrying by him. Eros flying in the sky is obviously Hölderlin, no other poet has ever been so close to the sky. The falling Icarus on the left is Fichte, who has also revealed selflessness at the borders of the self and he is burned and falling.
