“Unhappened Supper with a Hole"oil on canvas 90*120(2023)

On this work inspired by the famous painting of Caravaggio named "Supper at Emmaus" we are seeing an unhappened supper by 7 figures. From left to right we are seeing Simone de Weil, Heidegger, Tzara, Nietzsche, Bataille(Below the table.), Heracleitos, Sartre.

This unhappened supper is on a table with a hole. This hole can not be covered with any veil, cloth or ornament. So there is a hole in the table. It does not harm to integrity of the table, table is still useful. But there is a hole in it. They began to put something on it, but there is a hole in it. So a discussion among this 7 philosophers begin about the reason of this hole which cannot be covered by anything. This is the real short history of philosophy. Life has a hole which swallow every idea on it, all we can do is try to cover it, fix it, fill it, hide it. But it is there and on the other hand we can try to name it figure it, expose it. If we have to name it, it would be "meaning".

So what we have now, if all of the history of consciousness is a struggle to hide the lack of meaning and so what happen if we realise that this hole is something that no one can say anything truth about it.

Than we do not have to say anything but scream it ı suppose. Because screaming expose the lack. This supper is unhappened, but our life is happen right now and there is a hole in it, we have to start consider what we doing with this situation? Do we forget it, pretend like there is no hole or do we stare it fearless like these 7 philosophers?
