This work is dedicated to Maurice Merleau-Ponty, one of the foremost philosophers of phenomenology, who put forward perception as an orientation that cannot grasp only the ever-changing.
We can say that Ponty looks at the world from an impressionist painting in the relativity of perception, as in an essay called "L'Œil et l'Esprit”, which is a reflection work on Cézanne’s works also.

From opening of the “L'Œil et l'Esprit”:

« Ce que j'essaie de vous traduire est plus
mystérieux, s'enchevêtre aux racines mêmes
de l'être, à la source impalpable des sensa- tions. »
J. Gasquet, Cézanne.
